Japan Higashimikawa Rips Guangsha By 24 Points

TOM Sports: The ABA Championships continues on September 18th afternoon between Guangsha and SmartGilas and Hamamatsu Higashimikawa Phoenix. The final score is 52-76, Guangsha loses to its opponent by 24 points, still could not reap a victory in the tournament.

From the starting quarter, Guangsha gains an early lead by Lin Zhi Jie`s double three-pointers. But Hamamatsu Higashimikawa Phoenix is not so easy to beat. Forcing Guangsha`s turnovers, it fires a 6-0 run and takes a 23-11 lead by the end of the quarter.

In the second quarter, Guangsha`s weak paint is constantly attacked, even after calling a timeout, it could not score a point within 2 minutes and the deficit is stretched by 17 points. When quarter time expires, Guangsha only got 9 points and left far behind by 16 points.

In the second half, Guangsha still could not gets it to go. Lacaille of Hamamatsu Higashimikawa Phoenix makes two and-ones and help his team lead by over 20 points. The new member of Guangsha, Luo Zhi, is not on the court for two quarters and the team is down by 20 by the end of this quarter.

In the last quarter, the two teams benches make the game a shooting competition. The scores are climbing. Finally, Guang sha loses the game by 24 points, still could not reap a victory in the tournament and only got a 6th place in 6 teams. The The final score is 52-76.
